A prototype made for the 2019 Global Game Jam. Players must defend their house with common household items. The game will continually spawn enemies, but if the player enters his or her Twitch information before the game, viewers can enter themselves into the game as an enemy by typing "!join" in the twitch chat and can also choose where their in game character will approach from. Move with wasd, attack by clicking, use power ups with the space key.
For this game I focused on adding Twitch integration, and developing some of the traps the player can use. It was a new challenge working with Twitch integration, but I thought it was interesting designing a game with viewer interaction in mind. We wanted viewers to feel like they had some agency in the game, but still have it be simple enough to be carried out with a minimal number of chat commands.
